The Detroit Area BIM User Group / AIA Technology in Architectural Practice group is excited to announce its Q2 2024 program:
The event will begin with a focus on Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), emphasizing its benefits for distributed design teams. We'll compare ACC's 'Unified' platform to the legacy 'BIM360' interface, highlighting the advantages of the Publish process over Live Linking. The Unified environment provides comprehensive coverage across design, construction, and building turnover, unlike BIM360, which primarily addresses design. Attendees will learn about the strengths of intentionally Published cloud Revit models versus the less structured Live Linking approach.
The second part of the evening will cover the latest features in Revit 2024 and 2025. Highlights include enhancements such as site modeling, solar studies, schedule improvements, parameter enhancements, draw order improvements, and the upcoming release of Dynamo.
